Tapas is built on a foundation of free self-publishing. We've expanded to include professionally-published content as well, but the comics and stories uploaded by independent creators will remain an integral part of the platform.

Creating a free series and uploading episodes is simple, and you can get started today. Learn more about the benefits of publishing on Tapas, or dive in below.

 

Self-Publishing

If you'd like to upload your comics or publish written stories on Tapas, simply login to tapas.io from a desktop or laptop computer, and then click the Publish button in the top right corner. On this site you will find helpful information and tutorials for how to publish on Tapas. 

To start creating a novel or comic, click Publish on Tapas or follow this link. After that, follow the steps to create a comic or novel series and add your first episode!

Please note that you will need to use a desktop or browser window to upload to Tapas. You cannot start a series through the Tapas App. We suggest using a personal computer, as using a mobile device can lower the quality of images uploaded.

 

Professional Publishing

We partner with publishers big and small. If you're an agent, manager, publisher, or professional creator and would like to distribute your content on Tapas, please email submissions@tapasmedia.co with details and include a link to your portfolio or relevant writing samples, as well as your Tapas profile, if you have one. Please be aware that while you may not receive a response, we appreciate you taking the time to get in contact with us.

Please do not directly submit any unsolicited story materials or ideas. This is to avoid potential misunderstandings or disputes in cases where Tapas content might seem similar to ideas submitted to us.

 

Premium Novelists

As of January 2022, we are not accepting submissions for Premium novel consideration. While we aren’t currently accepting premium submissions, we do highly encourage you to consider posting your novel on our platform if you haven’t done so already. Our community is an amazing space for creators and readers to come together and share the content they love.
