Mission prize and details

The mission of this challenge is to explore and document the richness of global cultures, fostering understanding, respect, and appreciation for our collective heritage. Through their photographs, participants will tell compelling stories, evoke emotions, and highlight the unique beauty of diverse communities' traditions, rituals, clothing, cuisine, and daily life. The top three photographers will be awarded prizes of $500, $300, and $200, respectively. Challenge submissions will also be sent to our partnering agencies for further monetization if they pass the quality assurance review. Selected photographs will also be featured in Wirestock's promotional materials, with proper attribution and credit.

Rules

• Photographers must capture the beauty and diversity of cultures from around the world. Showcase cultural practices, traditions, festivals, people, attire, architecture, or any other aspect that reflects the unique identity of a particular culture or the harmonious fusion of different cultures.
• The photos must be in high resolution, at least 6 MP on either side and in JPEG/JPG format.
• All submissions must be original photographs specifically taken for this challenge. Using pre-existing photographs or infringing on the copyright of others will lead to disqualification and termination of the account.
• Participants should aim to capture diverse cultures from various regions and communities around the globe. Celebrate the beauty of well-known and lesser-known cultural traditions, highlighting their unique attributes.
• Photographers must respect cultural sensitivities, seek informed consent when photographing people, and avoid misrepresentation or exploitation. Be mindful of capturing authentic and respectful depictions of cultural practices.
• Description: Along with each photograph, participants should provide a brief description highlighting the cultural significance, context, or personal experience related to the image in the "Caption" field upon submission.
• The deadline for submitting the photographs is July 20th. Late submissions will not be considered.
• Please be aware that the judges' final decision may differ from the voting outcomes of the polls on Discord and social media platforms, as the voting results are inconclusive and do not guarantee definite victory.
