SOCIETY6 Shipping Fees!!Attention!!

 

Hello, Starting today, when you make a sale through Society6.com, or one of our third-party affiliates, a shipping fee will be deducted from your earnings. This fee is only a portion of the entire shipping cost. Society6 and customers will still be covering the vast majority of these costs. When will these fees go into effect? The new shipping fees will go into effect today, May 4, 2023. Please note, the fees will not be reflected in your Earnings Dashboard until May 10, 2023. How much are the fees? Shipping fees vary based on the product sold. The full list of current fees can be found here and will be available in your Pricing Dashboard on May 10. How do I calculate my earnings? Your artist earnings are now calculated using the following formula: Artist Earnings = ((Base Price - Discount) x Markup) - Shipping Fee Note: in the rare case that the shipping fee is higher than your earning, you will not have a negative earning, instead you will not receive an earning on that sale. Why are these fees being introduced? While we don't like implementing new fees, global shipping costs have risen significantly. To date, Society6 and our customers have absorbed those increases. The addition of these fees, which are a very small percentage of Society6's overall shipping costs, will allow us to protect our customers' experience and offer reasonable customer shipping rates which we believe will ultimately drive better sales for our artist community.
